I just got my Palm TX back after having a new battery installed by Chris Short. After hotsynching, one of my most frequently used databases has been trunkated. It looks to me like it somehow reverted to a very old version of the database that was apparently saved in an old Palm folder location. How do I restore the database from one of the newer backup versions? Do I just change the name of the file and then tell it to install it?

Hi Fred,
It does sound like that is what happened. If you have the backups from within the HanDBase folder, you can open them in the desktop and choose File|Install to Smartphone/Handheld and they will be queued to install on the next sync. Repeat for each file.
