Unknown error. (65535)

I have HanDBase 4 Build 5 on a Palm Treo 700p. After working fine for many months, I am now getting this set of errors when I hotsync

* Conduit 'HanDBase 4' Error: Unknown error. (65535)
* Conduit 'HotSync Exchange' Error: Unknown error. (65535)
* Protocol Error: Unknown error. (65535)

How do I get this working again?

Hi there,

Very sorry to hear you're seeing this. I hadn't seen this before, so I did some searching and found a few similar cases. For example:

It seems that this is an issue that's happen sporadically to users for many years now and the 'fix' seems to be deleting the whole Palm folder and all it's backups, reinstalling the Palm desktop and conduit software and starting from there. I would imagine you'd also have to reinstall HanDBase for the system.

I wish I had a better answer for you but it seems to be caused by the now unsupported Palm Hotsync program. Sorry!
