Sync problem: "...no databases installed...."

I bought a new Motorola Moto Z4 to replace a Droid Turbo. Installed as new device. Attempted to sync with desktop overwriting handheld. Got the following msg:

I'm mystified. There are indeed databases on the Moto Z4. In fact I copied all the dektop databases over to the Moto just using Windows File Explorer. That was fine to get the Moto with up to date databases, but my routine over the last decade at least and with several smartphones is to enter new data in the databases on the hand held device and use the desktop as a backup. I'd like to get back to that. I only have McAfee as an anti-virus program. Also, I am trying the sync over the home network,, so I don't have the device mounted or connected to the PC.

Hi, I have the same problem in my Pocophone F1. Obviously if there are databases installed on the phone. To test, I created a database with the desktop application and installed it on the phone. The database is installed correctly, but in the following synchronization it does not detect it as it happens with the other installed databases. I don't have any SD card installed, since there are two sim cards installed in the phone.
Any ideas to fix it.
