HanDBase is not compatible with Unicode, thus cannot display emojis.
It would be a major upgrade to the underlying database structure to be compatible with Unicode, and since Dave has a full-time job and can only work on HanDBase in his spare time, it would take a while for him to do the upgrade.
Dave would like to get that done, but he has not announced any specific timetable yet.
Have a good day
Curt
I am not a DDHSoftware employee, just a long time HanDBase user.... from Palm to Windows Mobile to Android, to iOS. Thanks to DDH, the database files transferred to each platform without a problem.
