Is HanDBase ready for iOS 13 yet? I just got a notice to update my iPhone system software.

Updated my XS last night to iOS 13, so far no new bugs - at least in the small amount that I've used it today. I'm about to sit down and do a bunch of work with it & we'll see

I have detected an issue, not only with HanDBase, but many other third-party apps with iOS 13. The “open in” Feature no longer works reliably. For example, I store .PDB files in apps other than HanDBase such as box.net and GoodReader. When I try to move the .PDB files from those apps to HanDBase with “open in”, HanDBase no longer launches (this workEd perfectly in iOS 12). Also, HanDBase files are not able to be seen in the “on my phone“ section of the new Files app. If they were, one can share files between apps using that method. I hope this is fixed in iOS 13.1.

The only issue I've been reported so far is what Daniel Levy mentioned above- looking into that this week, but a few people were using HanDBase with the iOS13 beta and didn't have any issues with it.

Please let me know if you see something and I'll try to get an update ready asap!

Similar issue using Dropbox to exchange .PDB files between my devices. I have been using Dropbox/iPhone/iPad combo since iOS added file sharing.. When exporting a Handbase file from Dropbox, always had Hanbase selection in open in menu. Since installing iOS13, Handbase does not appear in open in menu after exporting a .PDB file from Dropbox. Android devices still receive exports without a problem.

Hi Jim,

The iOS13.1 update fixed this for some users. Others have been able to find 'Copy to HanDBase' when they click on the More option. For DropBox when I try it, I choose Export from the commands and then Open In.. in the next command. Then I scroll to the right and choose the More option and can find 'Copy to HanDBase' in that list below.

I’m getting inconsistent performance and occasional crashes on 13.1.3 on, and between iPad and iPhone.

Transfer via airdrop very inconsistent. Sometimes nothing happens, sometimes a transfer/overwrite is claimed, but the receiving DB is not changed. Direction of transfer does not seem to make any difference.

Occasional random crashes when selecting app menu.

Unfortunately, HanDBase has not been added to my selections. More gives me a plethora of selections, but no HanDBase. I tried in 13.1, and 13.2

Have all the issues for HanDBase been solved for the new iOS 13 version on iPhone? It is up to iOS 13.3 now.
Anxiously waiting until all issues are gone before I update.

iPhone 6S,
Running iOS 12.4.1
HanDBase 4.9.079 2018.9.23.1

I have been keeping current with the updates & am on 13.3 on my model XS; so far I have seen no bugs or problems because of it
