With the new update, all my 0 in interger field now have a 0 and I have to delete the 0 with the X circle button every time, instead of starting to enter data immediately. I am a novice at this so may need more instruction.

Good question! It is actually unnecessary to remove the 0 value because if you type your integer value afterwards, the preceding 0 will have no effect and actually gets deleted/replaced later when you save the record. Hope this helps!
