Reminder: Last few weeks to download HanDBase 3.x

Just wanted to post a quick reminder. As we've mentioned in the last few newsletters, we are discontinuing support of HanDBase 3.x (ie, all HanDBase version 3 products). This means that at the end of this month (May 2009) if you haven't upgraded to HanDBase 4, you won't be able to re-download HanDBase from our web site, should you need a copy again. We get a lot of people coming to the site each month to download files again, I assume because they are setting up a new computer, or reformatting their hard-drives and such. Once the support is stopped for 3.x, the downloads will not be available on the site, nor will we be providing tech support on using these versions.

In fact, on our todo list for early June is pruning the knowledgebase of outdated articles and updating those that need updating. This is long overdue, and is now more feasible as we don't have to worry about keeping documents active for both HanDBase 3.x and HanDBase 4.x users!
So the end result is that for customers staying current with their versions, this should help us provide better support and a more organized web site!

So if you haven't upgraded to version 4, I'd ask that you consider upgrading or grab the latest 3.75 files from the site because they will be gone soon!
