The Date Due field is sorted to show Assignments that are due next on top of the list. Those assignments will be then moved to the bottom of the list when you complete them.
Comments:
There are two databases contained in the zip file. One is Class (the main DBase) and the second is assignment. Using CLASS enter your course and instructor information. Once all your data is entered you can tap ASSIGNMENTS within the CLASS dbase to start adding the individual assignments for that course.
OBJECTIVE: This database is designed to track assignments received in school—
1) identify the course of study
2) a description of the assignment
3) a due date
4) your score on the assignment
5) total points for the class
6) your grade by percentage for the specific assignment
7) and your overall grade by percentage for the class
It is great for people who are in college or high school. The applet is linked to a second database, to-do_list.pdb. This database allows you to link specific assignments with a to-do list of up to five items.

Number Two
1) Filter 1 Disabled
2) Filter 2 Enabled
3) Selected Field: Done
4) Value Must Be: Checked or Unchecked
Checked allows you to see all the assignments you have completed.
Unchecked allows you to see any assignments which have not been completed, regardless of which course they are for,

Teacher can assess and report on maps with this application. You can insert data on authoring, location of the concept map server and on assessment of concepts, resources, structure and design of the map. The assessment of each field is over 1 to 5 score grade. The datebase has two views: the default view and another one to view just only authors and grades.

I created this to help me keep track of sources for term paper writing. I used to do a lot of academic research, and I hated writing things longhand, only to have to retype everything later. A lot of libraries and research facilities won't let you bring a laptop in, and who wants to lug it around anyway? With this DB, you can write your notes once, and paste the important parts into your finished work from the HDB desktop. Got a palm keyboard? Even better. Leave the laptop at home!

An exercise in using Tabs turned into this Flash Cards program since I couldn't find a program I liked.
Suggestions for use.
1. I configured this to read the hint and from that guess the Question or Answer. If you don't have a "Hint" information, don't worry. More suggestions in the zip file.
Nov. noticed a problem with the file. Fixed it. Try it now...
Primarily the same format as Flash Cards, but I have added the ability to add a 4 pictures to go along with the description. So, now you can use a photo to illustrate part of the question in addition to the important information.
Great for my purpose of learning butterflies. Could also be used for learning families of plants, people or any other image you need to identify and are having a hard time remembering.
This could even be used to take a picture of something and add a note about it as a information gathering device.
I've included 1 record with the 4 pictures associated with it and some suggestions about use in that record also.
There is a text file in the zip file which gives more information about best way to use this to learn items and using it as an actual Flash Card system and learning tool.

I use different "Views" to enable the learning process. As I learn an item I say so and it may jump to another view and out of the view (or list) you are practicing making you work harder on the ones you don't know, just like taking a flash card off the stack. You have to later reset the learned column to "0" to start all over again so the incremented is 0 and they all show up on the first "View".
Comments:
If you don't like which form comes up first, either buy the very inexpensive FORMS, or let me know.
I change my mind about which form I like to see come up first, so I'm sure other people will have different ideas also.
Using the Students DBase enter all your students. Once your students are saved, use the Assignments dbase and enter all the assignments for your class.
Once these two dbases are setup you can use the Students DBase to enter each individual students grade for a particular assignment.
Use the popup to help enter data quickly.

The interface is easy to use (eg. Icons on interface change colour to show that there are items attached to entry). This applet is multi user enabled (more than one parent/teacher can maintain a journal and databases can be synced). Screenshot:

Integrated set of DBs to track and manage students while in class. Includes student info, contacts, attendance/tardies (auto date/time stamp, excused/unexcused checkbox), book/workbook info (date in/out, condition, no.), "positive" contact manager, good things (click to give those bonus points), discipline (w/auto date/time stamp, offense, notes, disposition), homework. Many popups, fully customizable. This is NOT intended to be a full gradebook program, but rather to replace that awful pile of scraps of paper I used to end up with (and often lose) in my pockets at the end of the day.

Sort by random numbers (you can easily add truly random numbers to the five random fields included using Excel or by hand) to call on students in "random" order; five sets should be enough to keep them guessing!
Reports:
Use "export" to instantly transfer data to MemoPad -- lists of missing things, discipline and warnings, etc. (great for conferences) Very powerful when combined with filtering by student or period.
Comments:
I'm thinking primarily of high school -- I'm a foreign language teacher, so you may want to edit some pop-up "offenses" like "use of native language in class"...! Comes with sample data for 6 students in 2 class periods; will need to be deleted.

This is aimed at teachers who have some knowledge of the use of databases, it allows you to track pupils performance, behaviour and attendance closely! Modifications may be needed to tailor database to your needs, tests for instance.
There are 9 databases
Register Grid and cumulative register
Homework and Homework set
Assessments and Assessments set
Tests and Tests set
Behaviour
Register grid is the starting point. You should access each of the other databases from here. For instance the Homework set database is a record of all the homeworks set for all your classes and should be filled in when you set homework. When you mark homework you would then access the Homework Set database from each pupils record and relevant fields are automatically carried back to the pupils record. This saves entering data many times.
Full instructions are incuded in a .txt file in the zip package.

A series of databases to assist teachers with student data, attendance, homework, tests and final grades. The Teachers Complete Database consists of 6 databases, they are:
1-Students DB
2-Teachers DB
3-Attendance DB
4-Homework DB
5-Tests DB
6-Grades DB
The Students DB should be completed first so that the Student ID is established. The Student ID must be unique for each student, this is important for the relationships in the databases to work properly. The Teachers DB is the second database to be completed and intended as a help database for additional student data including parents contact information. There are links to the other databases in each sub-database and can be used to reference other student information easily.
The Tests DB is intended for individual test scores, whereas the Grades DB is designed to incorporate the test score and any other score the teacher desires such as extra credit or additional points given to the student (e.g. homework or special project scores).
The Grades DB is the final database for providing the class grade. When using this database keep in mind that the weight of midterm, weight of final and weight of max grade must equal 1.0 for final class grade to calculate properly. The max grade may be used in the calculation of the final grade if desired. Using this field in the calculation favors the student and gives the student the "benefit of the doubt." Please note that the no. of grades is critical to obtain the correct grade calculation.
The Homework DB includes homework grades and participation data that may be used as another measure of the students performance.

This database has times tables 0 to 9, more can be added. It has forms that are flash cards showing the question. Someone could ask the questions or the student can go through them on their one. They then use arrows to move to the next question. If they don't know the answer there is an answer button to tell them. When they are done with one number they can easily move onto the next.
