Description:This is the program I have used for the past few years during my evenings and weekends on call and I have modified it many times to best suit my needs. It allows you to keep accurate records of patient encounters while away from your office and transfer them to the chart later. I have a linked database containing prescriptions I frequently call to local pharmacies. Pop ups help you save time for the common complaints, responses and follow ups. The check box alerts me that I need to take some later action and I note what that is in the "note" field. The signature at the end of the record identifies me in the traditional format for dictation. Many of the fields are unused for any single call but they can be removed when you edit your hard copy.
Has Data:No
Has Forms:No
Sorting:I sort by physician at check-in time to discuss pertinent calls.
Reports:Using the export function I export to memo pad then copy to my word processor. I do some minor editing then print the messages on large labels. My staff cuts them apart and sticks them in patient charts so I have a permanent record of the message.
Comments:A few minor errors and improvements posted 11-12-00. Re-install applet to improve performance. Examples also added.
