Has Data:Yes
Has Forms:No
Comments:2003 CPT CODES ADDED. I have added the ICD 9 codes and V codes for OB/GYN with links to each one of the fields Surgery, Deliveries, Hospital Admits, and Consults. You can search for the ICD 9 codes and Cpt codes or use the old format I originally developed. OB ICD 9 codes may not have the 5th digit included but are followed by a + indicating another digit is necessary. The available 5th digits are included in the description eg (0-4) or (1,3) etc. Common language has been substituted in many of the ICD 9 descriptions and several codes not related to OB/GYN are included in the database. Use the FIND feature of the HanDBase program to facilitate quick location of codes, remember to check SEARCH ALL FIELDS when utilizing this feature. If you don't like the order of the fields, go to properties and click on edit field order. Suggestions welcome.

I have tried to link OB/GYN CPT codes to useful information that is necessary for my bookkeepping dept. to file for reimbursement. The patients information is divided into useful pop-up lists which allow for fast recording. These may be added to or edited in any way. I got the idea from another HanDbase applet which was too simple and did not use the linking feature or CPT coding. Categories include Surgery, Deliveries, Hospital Admits, Consults

An Anesthesia Friend wanted a way to keep up with pertinent coding data... This is an applet which has the following fields Patient,Date,Surgeon, Start Time, Stop Time,Patient Status, Procedure, Diagnosis, Anesthesia Code, Anesthesia Code Description, Anesthesiologist, Facility,Carrier, Notes. Each field exists under a surgical subspecialty, Gen Surg, Ob/Gyn,Plastics, Urology, etc... Pop up Databases provide quick access to Anesthesia Cpt codes or Common procedures + CPT codes are accessed under each Subspecialty... Additional common procedures are easily added to the pop-up databases... It is a simple tool primarily for logging cases for billing purposes and can be quickly filled out during the case... Sync at the end of the day to provide your billing company with almost everything they need... All of the 2002 Anesthsia 00 CPT codes are provided in a separate field...
