Description:This is an External field plugin for the HanDBase Desktop that allows for launching/opening of Files, Website and even starting Emails from directly within HanDBase. A sample database, FileLinkPlugin.PDB is included to demonstrate how this Plugin works. It has Filename, Website and Email fields to show those functions work. The Files will obviously not launch, enter your own path and file name to test this. The Open Website and Send Email functions will work. Check the DB Properties to see how these fields are set up. See the comments below for installation instructions.

Comments:To install and use this Plugin download the ZIP file and extract it to a folder on your Hard Drive. Copy the filelink.dll file into your HanDBase Installation folder. The default installation folder is C:\Program Files\HanDBase4\ To use this in your database select the External field type and then in Application Name type filelink. Click the Configure button to select the field that will hold the File Name, Website, etc.
